With this course coming to an end, I am looking ahead and planning my future.

Since the Work Placement module of the degree, I have been working at Bluematchbox Potter Supplies. First as a volunteer and now as a part-time employee, working two days a week.

I am one of eight students to be invited to join the inaugural Leach Year. This course runs from January to December, and students spend 3-5 days every other month in St Ives learning the Leach way—production throwing, lidded vessels, glazing, upscaling, kiln firing, etc.

Attending another specialist course - Ceramic Printing at the V&A in London, learning to screen print onto ceramics using the William Morris patterns.
